American bakeries range from wholesale operations that supply restaurants to neighborhood shops that sell bread, pastries, cookies and cakes over the counter, and many of them also pour coffee. Bagel shops boil and bake on site and sell out of favorite flavors by late morning; donut shops open before dawn and are often family-run; patisseries and cake studios take custom orders for weddings and birthdays and usually need one to two weeks' notice. Ice cream parlors, gelato shops and frozen yogurt bars are seasonal in the northern states and year-round in the South and on the West Coast. Prices are posted per item, by the dozen or by the pound, and most shops now take cards and mobile payment.

I ordered 2 beef and one aransaw pate, along with a pate kode on Saturday afternoon around 3:30 and when I first ate my aransaw pate, I was met with a weird texture on the meat itself, and the same with the beef. Shortly after I ate them I began to feel extremely nauseous, to the point where I had to go to sleep in hopes it would go away. That same night I woke up to run to the restroom where I then threw up all of the pate (I only had two) and continued to throw up until the next day almost. I have had pate from here before (usually a pate kode) and normally theyβre very fresh tasting and good but this will be my last straw because the food gave me food poisoning and a stomach bug, causing me to have to get medical intervention for it to end.

I ordered from DoorDash, which means I paid additional fees and charges. However thatβs was not at all the issue. The issue arrived when the food arrived. I am of Haitian decent and I know how the meal should taste and be prepared. The pate barely had a whole egg in it; it was all do barely any fillings. Then the spaghetti was so dry. How do you dry out pasta and has maybe 10 small slices of hotdogs. The food was so bland. I donβt recommend anyone looking for good food to order from here.

La Paix Bakery is truly a gem in the Miramar/Broward County area. Their Caribbean Haitian soupsβespecially the seafood bouillonβare consistently delicious and always exceed my expectations. The pastries, drinks, and overall quality never miss. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the service is always top-tier. As they celebrate 20 years in our community, I just want to say thank you for being a staple in our culture here in South Florida. Wishing La Paix many more years of growth and success. If you want authentic flavor and great service, this is the place!

Wanted a quick bite. Order consisted of 4 patties (cod, herring, 2 beef) (2 juices passion fruit and lemonade). The juices were Hot and the patties were Thick w dough. The service was quick and fast and the atmosphere was nice and the atmosphere was lovely and home down feeling. I wasn't satisfied with the food or drink.

Best Haitian bread!! If you love out of town they freeze well so you can reheat in the oven or air fryer. Been coming here for over a decade. Very consistent. And they make fresh bread all day! Boullion and spaghetti served for breakfast. I snagged grapefruit marmalade while I was here! They also have haitian hot chocolate to drink and to make. Itβs really good quality and you can buy a few to make it home.
